The Very Best Thing About France Was...

... the food and the wine? These were wonderful and so different from home. But that's not it.













... the famous landmarks? Awesome, and so cool to witness things and places shared with so many other people. But that's not it.




... the history and beauty of architecture oh, so old. So different from North America, "the teenager of the earth." But that's not it.



... cafe society? The most civilized way to live and I wish we could adopt more of it. But, that's not it.




...the funky neighborhood that was my home away from home? Loved it, and really felt a part of it all. But that wasn't it, either.




... the flat, 53 steps into the sky? Fantastic, and all the unexpected exercise made me strong and happy. But that wasn't it.
